Oh geez…forgot to say YaYa tick is safe for dogs. Not all essential oil sprays are…please be careful! Mom is really careful just to spray it on our legs. She is from NCA and the ticks are prevalent there! Tick checks were done continually. The mosquito spray is not safe for dogs, so mom is careful around us.
*before they bite. We all feel them walking around. The little ones…very little chance of finding them until it is too late. Mom is currently successfully using YaYa tick. She used to work with them. But she thinks Badger makes a better mosquito and black fly spray.
@3feathers We never get ticks in Florida, but we sometimes get them in NC. Mom found one on Stella. Thankfully, it did not bite her. We use to have some spray that Lucas recommended, but we didn’t like to have it sprayed on us.
@stella We don’t like tick spray. It is smelly. Mom used to put it on my legs, but now she just puts it on her legs! 😂 And she checks us over continually…we have gotten good at catching the adult ones before tebefore the bite

Oddly the best essential oils are not accepted by the EPA to be labeled repellent. Yet.
