Oskar Bear Mom is not feeling well emotionally. Kieran has been in Florida for 6 days and gets home tomorrow. They were talking lovingly on the phone every night until Christmas Eve and then on Christmas his Mom said some really bad things about my Mom and they have texted but haven’t talked on the phone since. Mom just tried to call him and he texting “not doing well I’ll call you when I leave for the airport at 5am tomorrow” and Mom said what do mean not doing well? I love you and he didn’t reply.

You have lots of friends and mom says having friends isn’t like collecting baseball cards. I’m not sure what that means but I think it’s basically it’s not how many you have. It’s how good your friends are. You know you have friends here and you have friends in person that sounds pretty good.
Oskar and Morgan, I’m sorry. Please don’t take anything the mom is saying to heart. She has no idea how you’ll raise children. She doesn’t even know you. You know you have a good heart that’s full of love. That’s all you need🥰 Chin up💖
That is a ridiculous thing for her to say. Anyways a couple of close friends is better than a bunch of acquaintances. Online friends are good also because even though we don’t know you in real life, we are still there for you.
@stella we love you too!!! Fi and Woofstagram are so wonderful!! And one of Kieran’s Mom’s critiques of my Mom is that she doesn’t have very many friends so she wouldn’t socialize future children well but Mom does have 2 close female friends her own age and a ton of online friends through me! And she gets along well with relatives etc so we think that’s a ridiculous thing to say

@stella Mom and I have been at the dog park for 20 minutes just enjoying the fresh air and I’ve been running around getting out some energy and plan to cuddle her when we go back inside
@stella thank you, we love you! Yes it’s been hard and I’m sorry Mom didn’t get the cards out yet even though she finished them so I guess now they’re new years cards
So sorry that your mom has to go through that! Not nice that his mom said terrible things on Christmas or that she hasn’t been able to speak with him on the phone since. 😔 That sounds like a very difficult situation to be in.
So I’m going to try my best to cheer Mom up and go on a long walk with her. I love you friends. Hopefully tomorrow goes well but if not we may be saying goodbye to Kieran.
