@harryemmyroe I’d be grateful for a list. Yet, so sad to hear that your momma has these conditions. 😣 I’m holding steady for the moment. But yeah, it seems too that my body is very sensitive to certain foods. I have a cranky immune system & figuring this out for dogs is basically not available to the average pup. Sure there are veterinary scientists working on these kinds of conditions, but not something every vet in clinic is capable of helping.
Happy Tuesday Yukon. We didn’t realize the Collie snout was a form of lupus. So my mom has two autoimmune disorders psoriatic arthritis and then because that was not treated correctly a secondary condition called CSU began. It is chronic spontaneous urticaria, basically her body can’t stop making histamine so she always has hives, that is why dad said she is allergic to herself. But we were thinking maybe the itching for you is a similiar situation. Moms is pretty well controlled now with medication, we can send you the list if you want to run it by your vet, to see if it might help you.
