Wile E. Mom got me booties for those “just in case” really cold days. Testing them out on the front paws. I did really good. She said I’d only need them if it was really bad out or I hurt my paw. I said ok. She also got me some zinc hoping that will help with my dry skin.

Glad your mom found something good to help with your dry skin. Dry skin is almost never a problem here due to our high humidity.

Right on, thank you for the info. ❤️ I went through a year long battle with allergies & itching all crazy like. Long story short, mam switched my vet to a more East meets Western medicine vet & we got it all figured out. Mam started me on a cooling food diet (She's always cooked my food & kibble if I'm peckish midday) & my allergies are next to nil. But dry skin this winter got me! 😆 I turn my nose up at all salmon oil now, so she's been feeding me more salmon & cooking it in coconut oil. I'm snarky sometimes 🤭🤣 Mam calls me her little jerk-face. 🥰
I never wear boots or jackets, it's not cold enough here. Sounds like your mom really loves you and wants you to be healthy. We are such lucky dogs!! ❤️❤️❤️
@couchwolf Mom bought something called Nutrizinc. It is for northern breed dogs like Siberian Huskys. There are also other breeds that can get low in zinc. My itching is almost nothing these days, but I still do a little and she has noticed dry skin in a lot of those areas. She changed my Vitamins and to a different Omega oil (native pet) to add to the homemade food. She is also making sure I only get the best kibble that is salmon or some kind of fish. Apparently Siberian Huskys still follow their origins and want mostly protein in their diet. I get a ton of exercise daily as well here on the farm.
Baby booties?!?!? 😱😠 Mam says you look handsome 😍 Gonna have her look into the Zinc business for dry skin. What do you use? 🤔 I get dry skin in the winter & she fires up a humidifier & ups my coconut oil or olive oil on my dinner. ❤️
