Oskar Bear I burnt my paw pad on my walkie with Kieran yesterday so we are going to be more careful about walking when the sun is up because of the hot ground and my refusal to wear shoes. Mom email the vet this pic and he said, “Hey Morgan, that’s nothing to worry about those paw pads are made to be worn down and then they regrow. That doesn’t look deep enough to worry about infection.” So we’ll be using paw balm and if it somehow gets worse neosporin but yay safe from a vet visit!! I love you all!❤️🐾🥰

Ouch! Mom puts the paw cream on my paws too. She tried putting shoes but I chew and shake them off. She might try again but we don't have too many really warm days. Early morning walkies is where it's at! Have a good night! I hope you feel better soon. Lots of love 💕
@j28shh6j8t885 me too! I’m not limping or messing with my foot but it concerns Mom that it’s so hot out I burnt my paw pad! Super happy I don’t have to go to the vet again so soon though, when I heard her on the phone (she called and they asked her to email a photo) I got anxious! I love you!❤️🥰🐾
@yukon_smoothcollie I have some hiking shoes that don’t quite fit right and I refuse to wear and if Mom puts them on me I shake my feet to try to get them off!!! I might tolerate different shoes! I do however like using paw balm and having my long walk around sunrise before it’s hot!
@the_roamer Weve heard lots of good recommendations from our furiends but I don’t recommend the Arcadia brand from petsmart. Those were the ones Mom got for me and I hated them. She bought a large and an XL and the L was too small and the XL was too big! I love you Jack, good luck finding good shoes for your paws, Texas is also very hot!!!❤️🥰🐾

Mom wants to try some shoes on me but I don’t like my feets touched. We don’t know what size or what kind to get.
